Alfresco: The Complete Series - £19.99 RRP – Written by Ben Elton, Alfresco is the Granada comedy sketch show broadcast in 1983 that gave a break to six promising young comedians: Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, Emma Thompson, Paul Shearer (later replaced by Robbie Coltrane) and Siobhan Redmond. Running for two series, every episode is included on this two-disc set uncut and complete.

London's Burning Series 10 - £34.99 RRP - The new series features Blackwall Fire Station’s Blue Watch, back on duty with a new fire engine and facing more dramatic – and occasionally farcical – situations. 18 episodes are spread across 4 discs presented in Full Screen.

Thick as Thieves: The Complete Series - £14.99 RRP - Starring John Thaw and Bob Hoskins, this ITV sitcom is the brainchild of the legendary team of Dick Clement and Ian la Frenais (Porridge, The Likely Lads).

Metal Mickey Series 2 - £14.99 RRP - All 5 episodes from series two of this children's show written by Colin Bostock-Smith (Alas Smith and Jones, As Time Goes By) and directed by Monkees star Michael Dolenz.

After Henry Series 2 - £19.99 RRP - This comedy stars Prunella Scales as the put-upon Sarah and Joan Sanderson as Eleanor, her interfering, waspish mother.

Get Some In Series 2 - £14.99 RRP - Comedy by the winning team of John Esmonde and Bob Larbey (The Good Life, Please Sir!).

7-49UP - £49.99 RRP - Directed by Michael Apted, this ITV series about children from different social backgrounds made between 1964 and 2005 as they evolve through life will be available to buy on DVD for the first time in the UK in a 6-disc set. Extras include:

  • New exclusive interview with Michael Apted about making the series
  • New featurette with Michael Apted on his career
  • Audio commentary with series producer Claire Lewis plus film editor Kim Horton and cameraman George Jesse Turner on segments of 28 Up

Within These Walls Series 1 - £29.99 RRP - This British drama offers an authentic portrayal of day-to-day prison life as well as the progress of the penal system, reflecting the shift from a Victorian ethos of punishment to an emphasis upon rehabilitation – a task that the newly appointed governor Fay Boswell (Googie Withers – Shine) takes most seriously. The series centres upon her attempts to liberalise the regime of Stone Park, H.M. Prison for women. Episodes are spread over 4-discs. The only extra is a PDF script.

Hardware The Complete Series - £19.99 RRP - Created and written by Men Behaving Badly creator Simon Nye, this comedy stars Martin Freeman, Peter Serafinowicz and Ryan Cartwright.

Carnival of Souls - £14.99 RRP - This horror directed by Herk Harvey and first released in 1962 comes to DVD with the following features:
  • Audio commentary with horror experts Kim Newman and Stephen Jones
  • Booklet written by Kim Newman

The Feathered Serpent: The Complete Series - £19.99 RRP - Written by John Kane (Dr Who) and directed by Vic Hughes (Chocky) and Stan Woodward (The Tomorrow People), this Thames Television children’s drama series stars Patrick Troughton (Doctor Who), Diane Keen (The New Avengers) and Brian Deacon (A Zed and 2 Noughts) in a lavish tale of murder, intrigue and political manoeuvring set amidst the splendour and turmoil of ancient Mexico. Originally broadcast on ITV between 1976 and 1978, this release comprises every episode complete and uncut.

The Ghoul (Special Edition) - £14.99 RRP - Boris Karloff stars in this “horror classic” that was thought lost for many years until a subtitled – but of poor quality – print surfaced in Prague. Many years later a copy of the uncut British print was found, and it is this version which has undergone extensive digital restoration for this release. Features include:
  • Audio commentary with horror critics Stephen Jones and Kim Newman
  • Commemorative booklet written by Stephen Jones
