Momentum Shockers

Momentum have announced a trio of horror films to tie in with Halloween. All three discs below will retail for £15.99 and will be released on 22 October.

Wes Craven's Shocker stars Mitch Pillegi (The X Files) and gives Jessica Craven her first feature film role. Pillegi plays Horace Pinker, a serial killer who is sent to the electric chair. However, when he uses electric to come back from the dead, those responsible for turning him in are soon to be become the victims of revenge.

Evil Dead II is part remake and part sequel to the cult horror film The Evil Dead. Once again directed by Sam Raimi and starring Bruce Campbell as Ash, Evil Dead II sort of retraces a lot of the steps of the original - just with more gore, shocks and humour. When a tape recites passages from The Book of the Dead, Ash, his girlfriend and some friends must fight for their lives from numerous scary beings, ghouls and zombies.

Finally we have another horror film based upon a Stephen King novel - Silver Bullet. Set in the small city of Traker's Mill, the peaceful and traquil environment is shattered with a series of gruesome murders and the ensuing search for the murderer.

We've got nothing in the way of technical specifications for any of the above discs. Also, no extras are listed so it'll be interesting to see if we actually get any.
