Pathé have announced the long-expected release of Memento on 14 January 2002. One of the sleeper hits of the last year, Memento has recieved heaps of praise from most who managed to see it in it's limited theatrical run. Given that the film hit UK cinemas well in advance of the US it's particularly galling that we have had to wait so long for the disc to hit the shelves, especially when it's now available to buy in most Region 2 countries along with separate releases in the US and Canada.
Retailing for £17.99, our disc will feature a 2.35:1 anamorphic transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 soumd, the original theatrical trailer, an interview with director Chris Nolan, website material, Memento Mori, Tattoo gallery, the shooting script and the 'Beginning of the End' easter egg.
Certainly sounds like one to add to the shopping list post-Christmas.
