Marvel starts looking for Doctor Strange director

With the Avengers sequel coming this year, Ant-Man scheduled for a Summer 2015 release and now the Fantastic Four one step closer to production, Marvel has begun meetings to find a director for the planned Doctor Strange film.

It is reported that there are four directors linked to the job:

- Mark Andrews, co-director of Brave
- Nikolaj Arcel, director of A Royal Affair
- Dean Israelite, director of upcoming sci-fi adventure Welcome to Yesterday
- Jonathan Levine, director of 50/50.

Marvel are reportedly planning to hire the screenwriter and director to work in tandem, or a director that can also work on the script. Kung Fu Panda writers Jon Aibel and Glenn Berger are linked to screenplay duties.
