Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again final trailer: Time to become a Dancing Queen once again

The legacy of ABBA's music remains as strong as ever and the success of the first Mamma Mia! film always meant a sequel was on the cards. It is bolstered further by the recent news that Agnetha, Björn, Benny, and Anni-Frid are returning to the studio to record new music for the first time in decades. The cynical might even suggest it was a deliberate attempt to cash in on the release of the film. Heaven forbid. Anyway, check out the final trailer above for Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and check out the poster below.

Meryl Streep returns as Donna, Julie Walters as Rosie and Christine Baranski as Tanya. Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper reunite as Sophie and Sky, while Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård and Colin Firth return to play Sophie's three possible dads: Sam, Bill and Harry.

The film goes back and forth in time to show how relationships forged in the past resonate in the present, Lily James will play the role of Young Donna. Filling the roles of Young Rosie and Young Tanya are Alexa Davies and Jessica Keenan Wynn. Young Sam will be played by Jeremy Irvine, while Young Bill is Josh Dylan and Young Harry is Hugh Skinner. Director Ol Parker takes over the sequel while also writing the screenplay.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again swings into UK cinemas on July 20th 2018.
