Icon Home Entertainment have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of La Vie En Rose on 26th November 2007. From the slums of Paris to the limelight of New York, Edith Piaf’s life was a battle to sing and survive, to live and to love. La Vie En Rose tells the true story of her incredible destiny and opens a window into the soul of an intimate, intense, fragile and indestructible woman, who was ready to make any sacrifice for her art.

Raised in poverty, Edith’s magical voice and her passionate romances and friendships with the greatest names of the period made her a star all around the world. But in her audacious attempt to tame her tragic destiny, the Little Sparrow – her nickname – flew so high she could not fail to burn her wings.

Available in standard (£19.99 RRP) and Limited Edition Gift Set (£29.99 RRP) versions the latter will package the DVD with the original soundtrack, featuring the ‘greatest hits’ of Edith Piaf songs and music from the film.
