Anchor Bay UK have announced their plans to release the two-disc version of horror classic, Halloween on 8 October. The £24.99 set will feature two versions of the film - the theatrical version a special extended 'TV version'. The latter incorporates additional scenes which don't appear in the theatrical release.

Directed by John Carpenter and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Halloween is the first and best in a long running series of films.

The press release is fairly sketchy but according to the The R2 Project, in addition to two versions of the film the package will also include:

  • Commentaries
  • Cast and crew interviews
  • Behind the scenes footage
  • Deleted Scenes
  • Biographies
  • TV clips
  • Radio clips
