Doctor Who: K9 Tales in June
The Restoration Team have officially confirmed and announced the details for the forthcoming Classic Who release K9 Tales. A twinpack featuring The Invisible Enemy and K9 and Company will be released on 16th June 2008 priced at £29.99.
The Invisible Enemy is a Tom Baker four-parter from Season Fifteen, and was first screened in October 1977. Written by the prolific Who writing team of Bob Baker and Dave Martin, the story sees the Doctor and companion Leela (Louise Jameson) taking on the Virus, an evil intelligence with designs on the universe. Although not that well thought of amongst fandom, as the serial introduces K9 (voiced by John Leeson) it has an important place in the series's history and guest-stars Frederick Jaegar and Michael Sheard.

Years before The Sarah Jane Adventures was even a glint in Russell T Davies's eye, the very first Doctor Who spin-off debuted in the form of K9 and Company: A Girl's Best Friend first broadcast during Christmas 1981. A pilot for a series which sadly never happened, the fifty minute adventure saw Elisabeth Sladen reprising her role of Sarah Jane Smith to investigate mysterious goings-on in the village Moreton Harwood. Now making a welcome debut onto DVD, the story will be accompanied b ythe following extras:
