Doctor Who: City of Death in November

BBC Worldwide have announced their November Doctor Who release will be Season Seventeen's City of Death, starring Tom Baker. A fan favourite, the story sees the Doctor and his companion Romana (Lalla Ward) arriving in Paris and facing off against the villianous Scaroth (Julian Glover). Co-written by then script-editor Douglas Adams, and featuring a cameo by John Cleese, the serial is sometimes hailed as the wittiest Doctor Who story ever and makes a welcome addition to the Who DVDs.

The only extra mentioned so far is a possible tour of the Parisian locations by Tom Baker but expect the Restoration Team to produce the usual mixture of archive material and newly-shot features, as well as a feature-length commentary. RRP will be £19.99.
