Daniel Craig 'done' playing Bond - Who will takeover the role as 007?
News broke earlier that Daniel Craig, who has played James Bond on-screen since 2005, is reportedly 'done' with playing the British Spy after turning down a £68 million contract from studio bosses for two more films.
The 48 year old star told the press last year that he would rather 'slash my wrists' than play Bond again even after bosses threw a large amount of money at him.
An LA Film source told the UK's Daily Mail; "Daniel is done - pure and simple - he told top brass at MGM after Spectre," the source said. "They threw huge amounts of money at him, but it just wasn't what he wanted. He had told people after shooting that this would be his final outing, but the film company still felt he could come around after Spectre if he was offered a money deal."
Rumors are already starting to circulate as to who will don the status of 007 next with High Rise and Thor star Tom Hiddleston leading the bookmakers favourites. Others on the list include Idris Elba, Damien Lewis and Superman himself Henry Cavill.
