Criterion’s Rififi

If you bought a copy of Criterion’s edition of Rififi, you may have noticed an audio synch problem. This was a fault on Criterion’s behalf, and they have now apparently corrected this problem. Anyone wishing to exchange their disc may like to note the following e-mail which they have sent to people enquiring about the fault:

“Dear Sir or Madam,

The second printing of RIFIFI has arrived. To exchange your faulty
copy for the new, corrected DVD, please send your RIFIFI disc to the
following address:

The Criterion Collection
210 E 52 Street, 5th floor
New York, NY 10022
Attn: Jon Mulvaney

As soon as we receive your disc we will mail a replacement to you.
Please be sure to include your mailing address with the DVD. We
apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you for your patience and your commitment to The Criterion Collection.

Best,
JM”
Presumably this includes international shipments, but it may be worth contacting Jon Mulvaney to make sure.

We need your help

Running a website like The Digital Fix - especially one with over 20 years of content and an active community - costs lots of money and we need your help. As advertising income for independent sites continues to contract we are looking at other ways of supporting the site hosting and paying for content.

You can help us by using the links on The Digital Fix to buy your films, games and music and we ask that you try to avoid blocking our ads if you can. You can also help directly for just a few pennies per day via our Patreon - and you can even pay to have ads removed from the site entirely.
