Could Chloe Moretz handle The Wilderness Of James?

Is a Let Me In reunion on the way?

Good horror remakes are a rarity but one that bucked the trend was Matt Reeves’ Let Me In. Whilst it may not have been quite as spine-chilling as its Swedish predecessor, it really benefited from the central performances of Kodi Smit-McPhee and the always impressive, Chloe Moretz. Now word is out that the pair could be reunited; Deadline have reported that Moretz is in talks to appear in The Wilderness Of James, to which McPhee is already attached.

Written by Michael Johnson, who will also be making his directorial debut, the film is set in Portland and follows a young boy (McPhee) who is forced to deal with the absence of his father. Our guess is that Moretz will be the necessary shoulder to cry on.

Expect further confirmation on whether Moretz takes the gig or not, but we can only wonder where she’ll squeeze it in to such a busy schedule. Not only does she have super-sequel, Kick-Ass 2 lined up, she’s also currently filming the Carrie remake.
