Billionaire Boys Club trailer: Taron Egerton and Ansel Elgort get-rich-quick

Billionaire Boys Club is going to be test of how seriously the general public view the Kevin Spacey allegations outside away from the hotbed of social media. The film was shot in 2016 but for obvious reasons has been held back (it's been released in Malaysia and Russia earlier in the year) but the decision has been made to keep Spacey in the film, avoiding the re-shoots Ridley Scott undertook for All The Money in the World.

It will certainly be interesting to see how eager the other cast members are to promote this leading up to release. You can watch the trailer for Billionaire Boys Club above - but beware - if the sight of Spacey makes your blood boil perhaps avoid it as he does feature prominently.

The film is set in the early 1980s and follows a group of wealthy boys in Los Angeles who set up a get-rich-quick scam that leads to deadly consequences for them and others around them.

James Cox (Wonderland, Straight A's) is directing, with Ansel Elgort, Taron Egerton, Emma Roberts, Suki Waterhouse, Rosanna Arquette, Judd Nelson and Bokeem Woodbine all in the cast.

Billionaire Boys Club gets a US release in mid-August, we've no idea yet if it even has distribution for the UK. Perhaps box office performance in the US will dictate whether or not it arrives here.
