Big Trouble in Little China SE
14 November sees the Australian release of sci-fi/fantasy epic Big Trouble in Little China. Directed by John 'I must prefix my name to the title of every film I make' Carpenter, the film stars Kurt Russell as trucker Jack Burton who becomes involved in a supernatural battle between good and evil when he takes his friend to pick up his fiancee at the airport (no, really). Said fiancee has emerald green eyes, so obviously(!) she is the perfect target for some sorcerer-guy named Lo Pan, who must marry someone with eyes of the aforementioned colour. Burton must save his friend's finacee and, far more importantly, his truck.
Turning off my sarcasm for a moment (which I have absolutely no right to use as I haven't seen the film), I will run through the features of this 2-disc Special Edition release.

Fox have, as usual, neglected to mention aspect ratio, sound details or price in their press release, although I think it is safe to assume that the R4 release will be presented in the original 2.35:1 with Dolby Digital sound, like its R1 counterpart. Whether or not the R1 DTS soundtrack will also be included is unknown.
