BBC Worldwide have announced a selection of new titles for release in June.
First up we get the complete third series of Only Fools and Horses. The disc hits the shelves on 4 June retailing for £19.99 - no extras are expected, but I can say that the disc will feature a 4:3 transfer, Dolby Digital Stereo sound and will be encoded for Regions 2 and 4.
Also on 4 June we have The Ballad of Big Al. The disc itself doesn't appear to be regionally encoded, it will feature a stereo soundtrack and an anamorphic 1.77:1 picture. It looks like this will be pretty much identical to the Region 1 release I recently reviewed (ie. Storyboards, photo gallery etc). The Ballad of Big Al will retail for £14.99.
Finally on 18 June we have Doctor Who: The Caves of Androzani. This latest Doctor Who disc appears to match up to it's predecessors. As mentioned previously on this site, we can expect a commentary by Peter Davison, Nicola Bryant and Graeme Harper, exclusive footage and behind-the-scenes documentaries, a photo gallery, on-screen production notes, trailer and news features and a music feature. As always, expect this one to set you back £19.99.
