Batman V Superman gets its Title

Warner Bros has unveiled the official title for Zack Snyder’s Batman/Superman project.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice seems to lay to rest any doubts people had that this was going to be by large a Justice League film. Of course, it’s still too early to say just how events are going to play out, what with Snyder having confirmed that he will direct an official Justice League picture, rumoured to be filming back to back with DoJ. However, with Gal Gadot currently pumping iron for her role as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg shaving the ol’ top off for Lex Luther, it’s looking like something big is going down.

It will be interesting to see just how well Zack Snyder manages to juggle everything that’s going on, especially with some fans hoping that he was going to give Clark Kent/Superman a much more fitting and deserved sequel, which would develop his relationship with Lois Lane and his new job at The Daily Planet. DC and Warner are far too eager at this point as they rush ahead with their plans, so let’s hope they really know what they’re doing.

So the speculation from here continues. Will we see Diana Prince in her Wonder Woman guise, or has Gadot a lot more training ahead, which will see WW fully appear in Justice League? And regarding Justice League, Is Green Lantern going to be recast or does Ryan Reynolds still have it in him? Will Flash appear, and if so is Grant Gustin a shoe in?

Why am I banging on about Justice League this early? Because it’s Justice League!

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (League) is released in theatres on May 6th 2016. Two long years…
