Avatar 2 to be filmed in 4k

It seems such a long time ago since director James Cameron announced three more sequels to the 2009 blockbuster Avatar. Since then, he has been busy making these sequels and with a planned release of Christmas 2016 for Part Two, it looks like Cameron has his work cut out to make all three films simultaneously.

However in a recent interview, Cameron has said that production shouldn't be a problem, thanks to technological developments - as a result, Cameron will shoot the sequels in 4k high-resolution.

It promises to be a feast for the eyes but will the technology work in Cameron's favour?
