Another offer you can’t refuse

In an announcement I know many people, myself included, have been waiting for, HBO have officially announced The Sopranos: The Complete Second Season for release on the 6th of November.

The four-disc set includes all 13 episodes in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen, 5.1 English surround and French and Spanish stereo, episode commentaries by directors Tim Van Patten, Henry J. Bronchtein, Allen Coulter and John Patterson, interviews with the cast and creator David Chase, and a short featurette called "The Real Deal," featuring discussions about the series with critics, psychiatrists and former FBI agents. Rounding of the set are biographies, episode synopses and a first-season recap. The set retails at $99.95. This appears to be a better buy than the currently available R2 set, which only has 2.0 Surround sound along with only a trailer and a few short featurettes as extras.
