Anchorman 3 won't happen, says McKay

Adam McKay, director of Anchorman and its sequel Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, has revealed that there are no plans to release a third Anchorman film.

Speaking to Empire Magazine, he says that even though it was great to do the sequel and to work with the cast again, "I think that's it for Ron Burgundy. That's the last sequel we're gonna do."

The news comes about as a re-release version of Anchorman 2, containing 700 new jokes, is due to come out in UK cinemas on 28th February for one week only.
