A Love Letter to Making Movies: Watch Sony’s new documentary short about Tarantino’s Oscar-nominated film

The BAFTAs arrive this coming Sunday, followed by the Oscars, to finally round out this year's award season. Last night Sony unexpectedly released a near-30 minute documentary on their award frontrunner, Once Upon a Time in...Hollywood, giving fans of the film some behind-the-scenes insight into the making of the film.

Everyone from Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, to Quentin Tarantino and Margo Robbie, along with other key members of the crew, such as cinematographer Robert Richardson, appear to discuss the film and what went into their performances and the recreation of late-60s California.

Once Upon a Time In...Hollywood picked up 10 BAFTA nominations earlier this month, followed by a further 10 Oscar nominations. It stands a good chance of picking up awards in many of the leading categories, although it will face stiff competition from the likes of Joker and 1917.

Tarantino has also previously mentioned he may release a four-hour cut of Once Upon a Time in...Hollywood later this year. No details have been released about where it will appear, but similar to The Hateful Eight it is likely to be broken down into chapters and made available on Netflix.
