47 Meters Down: Uncaged trailer: Somefin bad is about to happen in the deep blue

The first 47 Meters Down proved to be a surprise low-budget success at the box office, even though the critical reception was average to say the least. There was a teaser for the follow-up 47 Meters Down: Uncaged in 2018, but it took over a year to get a release around most of the world - except for the UK that is. It moves on from the story about two sisters to follow four teens who are exploring an old underwater city in shark cages. What could ever go wrong? Take a look at the trailer for 47 Meters Down: Uncaged to see what they have lined up this time.

The tells the story of four teens diving in a ruined underwater city, who quickly find themselves in a watery hell as their adventure turns to horror when they learn they are not alone in the submerged caves. As they swim deeper into the claustrophobic labyrinth of caves they enter the territory of the deadliest shark species in the ocean.

Johannes Roberts returns to direct the sequel, with the new cast starring Sophie Nélisse, John Corbett, Nia Long, Corinne Foxx, Sistine Stallone (Sylvester's daughter), Brianne Tju, Davi Santos and Khylin Rhambo.

47 Meters Down: Uncaged is available on DVD and digital from February 3.
