Using newly rediscovered 70mm footage, and 11,000 hours of uncatalogued audio recordings, this is the closest we’ve ever got to seeing humanity’s greatest achievement as though we were there.
Released in cinemas across the UK in June to universal critical acclaim and sold-out cinemas, the film features never-before-seen, newly digitised footage and a heart-pumping electronic soundtrack. The home entertainment release will honour this loving, pain-staking restoration with a release not only on DVD and Blu-ray but also in a special edition 4K Ultra HD release and Blu-ray. Special features on all formats will include Apollo 11: Discovering the 65mm featurette, Transearth Injection Cue walkthrough with composer Matt Morton and the Theatrical Trailer.
