Instant Family trailer: Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne become foster parents

Instant Family seems like one of those films that nobody knew was being made before a trailer suddenly appears. Looking at the trailer none of the jokes land and it looks like the sort of film you'd see swimming in Netflix's sea of light comedy content. It's scheduled for a cinema release but let's not rule anything out just yet. Watch the trailer above to get a first look at Instant Family.

When Pete (Mark Wahlberg) and Ellie (Rose Byrne) decide to start a family, they stumble into the world of foster care adoption. They hope to take in one small child but when they meet three siblings, including a rebellious 15 year old girl (Isabela Moner), they find themselves speeding from zero to three kids overnight. Now, Pete and Ellie must hilariously try to learn the ropes of instant parenthood in the hopes of becoming a family.

Sean Anders directs and the film also stars Octavia Spencer, Tig Notaro and Margo Martindale.

Instant Family opens in UK cinemas on February 19th 2018.
