What Men Want trailer: Taraji P. Henson takes the place of Mel Gibson

Remember that hilarious (it wasn't) 2000 comedy, What Women Want? Well, lucky us, because Paramount have only gone and re-made it under the title What Men Want. This one seems to have Erykah Badu making an appearance sending up her strange real-life hippie persona and Taraji P. Henson taking over the Mel Gibson role. If these two minutes are anything to go by the original version still lands up being funnier somehow. Check out the trailer for What Men Want above to see more.

Ali Davis (Taraji P. Henson) is a successful sports agent who’s constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When Ali is passed up for a well-deserved promotion, she questions what else she needs to do to succeed in a man’s world… until she gains the ability to hear men’s thoughts!

With her newfound power, Ali looks to outsmart her colleagues as she races to sign the next basketball superstar, but the lengths she has to go to will put her relationship with her best friends and a potential new love interest (Aldis Hodge) to the test.

Adam Shankman (Rock of Ages) is the man in the director's chair, with the support cast featuring Tracy Morgan, Richard Roundtree, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Josh Brener, Tamala Jones, Phoebe Robinson, Max Greenfield, Jason Jones, Brian Bosworth, Chris Witaske and Erykah Badu.

We'll find out What Men Want in the UK on January 25th 2018.
