Bear McCreary to score Godzilla: King of the Monsters

During Warner Bros. Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that Bear McCreary will be writing the score for the upcoming film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Director Michael Dougherty further promised that McCreary would be incorporating the classic theme from Godzilla and the other monsters. McCreary's best known works include The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica and Outlander, as well as 10 Cloverfield Lane.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters serves as a follow-up to 2014's Godzilla and will pit the titular monster against several famous movie monsters, including Rodan, Mothra and King Ghidorah.

The film is currently scheduled to be released in the US on May 31, 2019.
