Final Aquaman trailer: Jason Momoa was born to be king

()

The highly anticipated Aquaman film is slowly appearing on the horizon with its release date only four weeks away. But how it will fair at the cinema will have absolutely nothing to with anything the critics say. If comic book fans are excited about the Jason Momoa-led film they will flock out to see it. Critics are used for marketing, that has to be remembered, and have no bearing on the success or failure of a film. That has been proven again and again over decades of cinema. It all rests on how good, or bad, Warner Bros. handle this release. There isn't long left now, and you can check out the last trailer for Aquaman above in the meantime.

The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be... a king.

James Wan is directing his first superhero flick, with the cast starring Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Temuera Morrison, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Patrick Wilson and Nicole Kidman.

Aquaman swims into UK cinemas on December 14th 2018.
