Our House trailer: A brother and sister harness the wrong kind of energy
The line-up for year's FrightFest was released last week which means we should be getting a decent amount of horror trailers showing up before and during the festival. One of those is indie horror, Our House, which looks quite Blumhouse-y due to how the trailer has been edited, but perhaps has a bit more in store. Check out the trailer for Our House above to see what you think.
When his parents are killed in a car accident, science whiz Ethan must leave behind college and his girlfriend to care for his younger brother and sister. By day, he juggles the responsibilities of raising two kids; by night, he tinkers in the garage on an invention he hopes will change the world: a machine that can generate wireless electricity.
He gets more than he bargained for, however, when the device awakens the dead souls that haunt the house. As Ethan and his siblings attempt to make contact with their parents, a horrifying realization sets in: not all the spirits in their midst may be friendly.
Anthony Scott Burns directs his debut feature with a cast including Nicola Peltz, Thomas Mann, Percy Hynes White and Xavier de Guzman.
Our House gets a late release on VOD and selected cinemas late July and plays at Frightfest in the UK on August 24th 2018
