To The Night trailer: Caleb Landry Jones struggles to deal with PTSD
Caleb Landry Jones has built a niche as the oddball supporting character in a number of films in recent years and To The Night gives him a chance to take the lead and show a broader palette of his talents. It's directed by Michael Haneke (who worked as a consultant on the film) protégé Peter Brunner, and will be premièring at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival which kicks off today. Norman has never come to terms with the fire that, in his childhood, took away all those closest to him. His inner sorrow and feelings of guilt prevent him from starting a new life with his girlfriend and son. Although the fire took everything, it now becomes a path to dealing with his trauma.
Brunner also wrote the script and the cast features the talents of Eléonore Hendricks, Jana McKinnon, Christos Haas and Abbey Lee in support.
