This Week's UK Cinema Releases

Week Commencing April 2nd 2018

The Easter holidays continue as do the children's releases this week. Maya the Bee: The Honey Games, Sheep and Wolves and Toddy Haynes' Wonderstruck all aim for slightly different demographics, with I Kill Giants and Love, Simon attracting a more mature, young adult audience. Thoroughbreds could also be included into that bracket, although it centres around a somewhat darker storyline. Robin Campillo celebrated 120 Beats per Minute finally gets a UK release, while Emily Blunt dare not make a sound in A Quiet Place. Bruce Willis gets his first big cinema release in quite some time in Death Wish, while Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman bring their successful stage show, Ghost Stories, to the big screen.
