Eureka announce Hong Kong cinema classic Iron Monkey for Blu-ray release for June

Iron Monkey - one of Hong Kong cinema's most highly rated action films is coming to Blu-ray on 18th June thanks to Eureka. The 1993 film stars Donnie Yen (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and is directed by Yuen Woo-pin.

Blu-ray release of Iron Monkey features a full 1080p picture from a newly restored 2K master, it also features both the original mono Cantonese soundtrack alongside a 5.1 channel remaster. There is also a 5.1 channel English dub.

Wong Kei-ying (Donnie YenIp ManRogue One), a physician and martial artist, is mistaken for a masked vigilante known as the Iron Monkey (Yu Rong-kwong); a Robin Hood style hero who has been robbing the wealthy local officials in order to provide medical treatment for the poor. The two men must team up to defeat a corrupt political regime, and protect the lives of the people whose cause they champion.
