Almost every day sees the release of a new Netlfix TV show or film and today is no different. Chiewetel Ejiofor stars in the lead role of Come Sunday, and as an actor who continues to build a fine body of work, this looks like one to take note of when it appears on the service. Watch the trailer above to get an idea of what's in store.

This is based on the story of Bishop Carlton Pearson’s personal journey from leading a religious congregation to being labelled a heretic. As a preacher at Higher Dimensions, Bishop Pearson regularly drew 5,000 believers into his church. But when he declared he no longer believed in Hell he was denounced  and became an outcast in his own religious community.

Joshua Marston directs with a cast including Martin Sheen, Condola Rashad, Jason Segel, Danny Glover, and Lakeith Stanfield supporting Ejiofor.

Come Sunday lands on Netflix on April 13th 2018.
