Mute - the new film from Duncan Jones - gets a trailer

More on Netflix

It's been a while since the last Duncan Jones film and with the date for Mute released only last week we finally have eyes on the very first trailer for his highly anticipated sci-fi film.

Berlin, the future, but close enough to feel familiar: In this loud, often brutal city, Leo – unable to speak from a childhood accident – searches for his missing girlfriend, the love of his life, his salvation, through dark streets, frenzied plazas, and the full spectrum of the cities shadow-dwellers. As he seeks answers, Leo finds himself mixed up with Cactus Bill and Duck, a pair of irreverent US army surgeons on a mission all their own.

Aside from Duncan Jones taking up directors duties, the film will star Alexander Skarsgård as Leo, Paul Rudd as Cactus and Justin Theroux as Duck. Also featuring will be Robert Sheehan, Noel Clarke and Seyneb Saleh.

Mute will be released on Netflix on February 23rd.
