This Week's UK Cinema Releases
Week Commencing October 30th 2017
The star-studded Murder On The Orient Express rolls into town this week, the mighty moustache of Poirot twitching back onto our screens once more. Sidney Lumet's 1974 film was packed with just as many stars, so hopefully director Kenneth Branagh can do the Christie novel justice. Yorgos Lanthimos returns in typically strange style with The Killing of a Sacred Deer and Norwegian sci-fi, Thelma, is a small film with wonderfully big ideas. Documentary, 78/52, de-constructs Hitchcock's infamous Psycho shower scene, while the Mila Kunis vehicle, A Bad Moms Christmas, gets in an early shot for the holiday period. For those who can't get enough of the man, Conor McGregor: Notorious, is released early in the week and Sorcerer celebrates its 40th birthday, earning it a short re-release on the big screen.
