Cannes awards Palme D'Or to Ken Loach
The Cannes jury, led by Mad Max director George Miller awarded Ken Loach his second Palme D'Or tonight for his entry I, Daniel Blake.
The film follows a middle-aged carpenter, Daniel, and his friend Katie as they struggle to navigate the UK's benefits system.
The Best Actor award went to actor Shahab Hosseini for his part The Salesman. Jaclyn Jose won Best Actress for her leading role in Ma'Rosa.
