UK Box Office Report [Dec. 11 - Dec. 13]
Welcome to the UK Box Office Report for the weekend of Dec. 4 - Dec. 6
The following Top 5 list is determined by a films sterling gross at UK Cinemas between Friday and Sunday for this week.
(Also included are: The Films rank in the previous week, the number of weeks it has been showing as well as its total taking since its UK release)
 The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 - £1,286,244 (4th Week - Total: £25,496,552)
 The Good Dinosaur - £1,273,294 (3rd Week - Total: £6,748,842)
 Spectre - £807,462 (7th Week - Total: £92,042,790)
 Bridge of Spies - £783,293 (3rd Week - Total: £5,429,463)
 Christmas with the Coopers - £467,583 (2nd Week - Total: £1,437,439)
In what could be described as an expected turn of events due to limited new releases, this weeks Top 5 remains exactly the same as the previous week.
THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY - PART 2 took a drop of 43% this week but still managed to hold onto top spot by just £13,000 while THE GOOD DINOSAUR only lost 25% on last weeks takings. SPECTRE took less than £1 million for the first time since opening but still made an impressive £800,000 in its 7th week in UK cinemas.
BRIDGE OF SPIES and CHRISTMAS WITH THE COOPERS still managed to do good business but with SISTERS and STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS opening this week, could it spell the end of these films run in the Top 5?
As for the remaining five films in the Top 10, they too stayed the same if not for a few position changes. These include; THE LADY IN THE VAN, KRAMPUS and CAROL.
With STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS now here, the Top 5 will certainly look different next week.
