Another name into the Star Wars: Spin Off One mix

More on Star Wars

Earlier this month the rumours suggested Felicity Jones was going to be the lead of Gareth Edwards' Star Wars spin-off and that it would focus on the stealing of the Death Star plans that formed the backstory to Episode IV. There were also rumous that Aaron Paul or Edgar Ramirez had landed a role.

However, in true tradition of throwing EVERY name at the wall and seeing who sticks, today's rumour returns to the other popular theory that the film would focus on a young Han Solo and that Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service) has been picked to play the role.

It's pretty clear right now, that J.J. Abrams comments that there are lots of true AND false Star Wars rumours online hold a lot of water. Does anyone actually have ANY idea what the film will be about? Outside of Disney, Gareth Edwards,, J.J Abrams, Gary Whitta, maybe Rian Johnson and, of course, Simon Kinberg's new writing team we very much doubt it. In fact, is there any 'hot' rumoured talent NOT connected with the film in some way?

We'll continue to report on rumours, but we're taking pretty much all of them with a huge tub of salt until we get things confirmed from official sources. We suggest you do the same.
