Has Dave Bautista Landed A Role In Bond 24?

The rumour mill that is Latino Review are reporting that Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) has landed himself a role in the next James Bond film.

The actor, who had a breakout role as Drax in Marvel Studio's Guardians of the Galaxy, seems to have caught the eye of the studio behind Bond 24. EON are looking for someone over 6'2", who is imposing and physically fit and from a sports background. Bautista definitely fits the bill, and if he gets the part he will be playing a henchmen known as Hinx.

If Bautista can capture a similar performance to that of Drax, then we could be in for one of the more memorable Bond villains in a long while. He would also give, the also physically fit, Daniel Craig a true run for his money.

Bond 24 will start filming later this year, with Sam Mendes (Skyfall) again directing, for an October 2015 release.
