Warner Bros. Batman vs Superman bows to Marvel 2016 release?

Forthcoming Warner Bros. sequel Batman vs. Superman may be released earlier than scheduled to avoid a clash with Marvel.

Speculation amongst film and comic fans quickly arose after the studio planned to release the Man of Steel sequel on the same weekend as a currently unconfirmed Marvel release.

Sources have stated that the studio has now reportedly brought the sequel's US release date to a week before, changing it from 6th May to 29th April 2016.

We'll have to see if this is a wise decision on Warner Bros.'s part, but if Marvel are planning to a 'new' character adaptation in May (rumoured to be Doctor Strange), they'll need more to close the gap in the comic adaptations genre.
