Filming is due to resume on the latest Fast & Furious movie at the start of April. Production was delayed after the sad passing of star Paul Walker on November 30th last year. The Hollywood Reporter notes that; "Sources say Universal will restart production on the action franchise on or near April 1, giving the studio and director James Wan almost one year until the film is due to hit theaters April 10, 2015. The remainder of the shoot will last from six to eight weeks, according to insiders. Cast and crew will be called back to Atlanta, where filming had been scheduled to resume after Thanksgiving." THR

Despite seeing no more than a few sketches and a glimpse at the action figures, we haven't seen anything to do with this years reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Que TMNT producer Galen Walker, who posted the following on Facebbok; "Ok- Cool Beans folks! the new "Ninja Turtles" Teaser will make it's debut in front of the New Captain America Film- April 4th. We are ready and prepared for lift off! Been a long haul." Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be released on March 28th in the UK, which means we will have to wait until the US release to see our first glimpse of the heroes in a half shell. I expect the trailer will be online the same day as it reaches cinemas though. Facebook

Director Steven Soderbergh must have a lot of spare time on his hands lately, because he has taken the painstaking task of mixing Alfred Hitchcock's classic Psycho with Gus Van Sant's muddled remake. The whole thing is edited into black and white footage, and features both films overlapping with each other. Bonkers. The whole things is available here; Extension765

Girls actor Adam Driver has apparently signed on to play the big bad in Star Wars: Episode VII. No info has been given on the role yet, but the character is set to be similar in vein to Darth Vader. Michael Fassbender and Hugo Weaving also both apparently up for the role. Driver was previously mentioned to be playing Nightwing in the upcoming Batman Vs Superman movie, I'm guessing this announcement puts that rumour to bed though. Variety

Director David Fincher has started early talks with Sony Pictures to direct their biopic of Apple founder Steve Jobs. Aaron Sorkin is on writing duties and if Fincher does agree to direct, then it will be the second time the pair have worked together on a technology related biopic after The Social Network. Variety

I'm not sure on the potential value of seeing a Spider-Man related movie every year, but Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal has indeed confirmed the studios desire to make it an annual thing. With The Sinister Six movie planned, a standalone Venom movie and a third installment of the rebooted Spider-Man in the works, like it or not Spidey and friends aren't going away anytime soon. Variety

Luke Bracey (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) has landed the role of Johnny Utah in the upcoming remake of Point Break for Alcon Entertainment. Bracey will join Gerard Butler in the movie which is set to be directed by Ericson Core. Butler will play Bodhi, in the original Bodhi was played by Patrick Swayze, and the action will have more of an extreme sports feel to it as opposed the relatively calm surfing and skydiving of the original. The new, Gareth Edwards directed, version of Godzilla is due for release on May 16th and the hype machine has started slowly moving toward that release date with the new trailer going online. The new movie looks great and is a million miles away from the Roland Emmerich directed version from 1998.

Nicolas Cage aims for a return to form in the upcoming Joe. The tale of "An ex-con, who is the unlikeliest of role models, meets a 15-year-old boy and is faced with the choice of redemption or ruin." is directed by David Gordon Green and will be released on July 25th in the UK.

Another trailer has landed for the Darren Aronofsky biblical epic Noah. The movie stars Russel Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins and Ray Winstone and will be released in the UK on April 4th.

What more can I say about this trailer? Well, nothing actually, so just go and watch the first trailer for Marvel's Guardian Of The Galaxy.
