More on Star Wars

Lucasfilm's visual effects division, Industrial Light and Magic, will open its own branch in London to provide visual effects for the forthcoming Star Wars sequels.

It is reported that ILM's staff will also work on other films, including The Age of Ultron, the much-anticipated sequel to Marvel Avengers Assemble.

Star Wars VII is expected to start filming in May at Pinewood Studios, under the direction of Star Trek director JJ Abrams.

The new facility will be situated in the city's Soho district and will provide a springboard for the UK VFX industry, not to mention the country's hottest filmmakers.
