Nicole Kidman’s Grace of Monaco to debut at Cannes 2014

Olivier Dahan’s autobiographical drama, starring Nicole Kidman and Tim Roth, is going to debut at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

The film, originally scheduled for release last year, will be screening out of competition and will chart Grace Kelly (Nicole Kidman)’s marriage amidst a political dispute and a looming French invasion of Monaco in the early 1960’s.

Dahan, best known for the Academy Award-winning Le Vie en Rose, has teamed up with Erased screenwriter Arash Amel to helm the film.

Grace of Monaco is due to be shown on 14th May at the festival before its worldwide release. Its UK and US release date is to be confirmed by Canal+.
