30 Days of Night: Dark Days in October

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of 30 Days of Night: Dark Days on 5th October 2010. From production company Ghost House Pictures, this sequel was co-written by Steve Niles, the creator of the original graphic novels, along with director Ben Ketai.

Almost a year has passed since Barrow Alaska’s population was decimated by vampires. Stella, mourning her husband’s murder, has been travelling the world trying to convince others that vampires exist. When a group of lost souls offers her a chance to exact revenge upon the vampire queen, Stella joins their mission to stop evil from striking again.

Available on DVD ($24.96 SRP) and Blu-ray Combo ($30.95 SRP, includes BD + DVD), features are outlined below...

Sony will also release 30 Days of Night: Dark Days in the UK on both formats a week later on the 11th. Extras are the same (though the Blu-ray is also listed as having a PS3 Wallpaper Theme), meaning the only difference are the audio/subtitle options...
