Where the Wild Things Are (R2/UK BD) in May

Warner Home Video have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Where the Wild Things Are on 10th May 2010. An adaptation of Maurice Sendak's legendary children's story in which Max, a disobedient little boy, is sent to bed by his mother without any supper. Feeling hurt and unloved, he channels his anger, and instead of continuing his mischievious antics in his room, he creates his own imaginary world which includes a forest, a massive ocean and a small boat, which he uses to sail away to a land inhabited by monsters - Wild Things - who crown him king.
