Home (R2/UK BD) in June

Universal Pictures have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Home on 7th June 2010. Directed by French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand and narrated by Glenn Close, this documentary aims to change the way people see the planet and their impact on it. Shot in high definition in 54 countries and 120 locations over 217 days, the unique and first-time ever all-aerial filming style highlights the Earth’s wonders as well as its wounds and provides a necessary perspective to approach the changing environment.

On Blu-ray the film is presented in 1080P with English 5.1 DTS-HD MA, French 5.1 DTS-HD High Res and English SDH, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish subtitles.

Expect anamorphic widescreen and English DD5.1 audio on the DVD.

Extras on both are limited to a making of featurette which runs 35mins.
