Sherlock Hound: The Complete Series - £29.99 RRP (HMV Exclusive) - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s super sleuth, Sherlock Holmes, gets a unique animated makeover courtesy of acclaimed writer-directors Hayao Miyazaki (Howl’s Moving Castle; Spirited Away) and Kyosuke Mikuriya (Ulysses 31). Depicting all the characters as anthropomorphic dogs, Miyazaki and Mikuriya’s version presents a light-hearted and imaginative series of canine capers featuring the famous dog detective and his loyal companion Dr. Watson as they set out to solve a myriad of mysteries and take on Holmes’s arch-nemesis, the evil genius Professor Moriarty. All 26 episodes are collected together into one deluxe, five-disc DVD box set. The episodes are English dub only.

D. Gray-Man: Series 1 Part 1 - £22.99 RRP - Based on the best-selling manga written and illustrated by Katsura Hoshino, and directed by Osamu Nabeshima (Clamp School; Hamtaro), the gothic horror anime D. Gray-Man debuts on UK DVD as a tw-disc set featuring the first 13 episodes of the series' 51-episode first season. Set in a fictional 19th century England, the plot concerns a secret order of Exorcists embroiled in an ongoing struggle to save the Earth from an ancient being and his army of demonic creatures set on destroying mankind.

Features include: audio commentary for Episode 2; textless opening (Innocent Sorrow); textless closing (Snow Kiss); English 5.1 Surround; Japanese stereo with English subtitles.
