Varsity Blues SE (R1/US BD) in September - Artwork added

Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Varsity Blues (Deluxe Edition) on 15th September 2009. James Van Der Beek stars in this coming-of-age story about a small-town high schooler confronting the pressures and temptations of gridiron glory.

DVD and Blu-ray extras are actually slightly different (and clearly mixed up in terms of the PIP commentary) though we imagine the final specs will be much the same…

The DVD will have English, French and Spanish audio and subtitle options, while Blu-ray throws in Portuguese subtitles. DD5.1 on DVD and Blu-ray (with English 5.1 Dolby TrueHD on the latter).
