Wallander - £29.99 RRP – Kenneth Branagh plays the unique Swedish detective Kurt Wallander in this BBC drama series. Shot entirely on location in Southern Sweden, there murder mysteries are adapted from Swedish author Henning Mankell’s critically acclaimed Kurt Wallander Mysteries. The DVD includes Sidetracked, Firewall and One Step Behind alongside Behind the scenes and interviews with Brannagh and Mankell, and a documentary called “Who is Kurt Wallander” about the author.

Doctor Who – The Next Doctor - £15.99 RRP – It’s Christmas Eve in 1851 and Cybermen stalk the snow of Victorian London, in this special Christmas edition of Russell T Davies’ time-travelling drama. The episode stars David Tennant, David Morrissey and Dervla Kiwan. The DVD also features Doctor Who at the Proms.

Louis Theroux: The Strange and The Dangerous - £24.99 RRP – This three-disc set is a new collection of documentaries that includes exclusive commentaries with many experts including real-life Barbie Cindy Jackson on Under the Kinfe, wildlife expert Terry Nutkins on Louis Theroux’s African Hunting Holiday, human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell on Most Hated Family in America, comedian Norman Pace on Gambling in Las Vegas and Paul Taylor, former in-mate and leader of the Strangeway riots on Behind Bars.

Survivors - £29.99 RRP – This re-imagining of the seventies BBC drama series focuses on a world in the aftermath of a devastating plague. Extras are TBC.

The Moonstone - £15.99 RRP – Greg Wise and Keeley Hawes star in this BBC adaptation of Wilkie Collins’ classic mystery, the first detective novel ever written. Originally serialised in Charles Dickens’ magazine ‘All the Year Around’, The Moonstone is the story of a stolen sacred Hindu diamond that makes its way into the care of Franklin Blake (Greg Wise).

Little Dorrit - £34.99 RRP – This BBC series by Andrew Davies (Sense and Sensibility) brings to life Dickens’ powerful story of love, honour, debt and hope in 1820s London. Extras include behind-the-scenes material.
