Bangkok Dangerous (2008) (R1/US BD) in January
Lionsgate Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Bangkok Dangerous on 6th January 2009. Nicolas Cage stars as remorseless hitman Joe in the US remake version of directors Oxide and Danny Pang’s crime thriller.
The film is available on 2-Disc Special Edition DVD ($34.98 SRP) and Blu-ray Disc ($39.99 SRP), each offering extras and a standard definition digital copy of the film. The Blu-ray Disc also features MOLOG™, a BD Live application that allows users to insert and animate shapes, text, audio and other graphics right into the film as well as post “blogs” about the film to share with other registered MOLOG™ users. There will also be a standard 1-Disc DVD ($29.95 SRP) release that includes a Widescreen and Full Screen version of the film and the theatrical trailer.
Single-Disc DVD - Includes 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen and 1.33:1 full screen versions of the film with English DD5.1 Surround audio, English and Spanish subtitles and the theatrical trailer.
Two-Disc DVD - Includes the film presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen with English DD5.1 EX Surround audio, English and Spanish subtitles and the following extras:

- “Bangkok Dangerous: The Execution of the Film” featurette

Two-Disc Blu-ray - Includes the film presented in 1080P 1.78:1 widescreen with English 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, English and Spanish subtitles and the same extras as the special edition DVD. You also get the MOLOG feature. Region coding is TBC.
