The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (R1) in December

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian on 2nd December 2008. Based on the original book by C.S. Lewis, Prince Caspian sees the Pevensie children back in the wondrous realm of Narnia one year after the events of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, only to discover that more than 1,300 years have passed in Narnian time.

Available in single-disc ($29.99 SRP) and three-disc Collector’s Edition ($39.99 SRP) versions, features are as follows…

Single-Disc Edition: Presented in 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen with DD5.1 Surround audio and English, French and Spanish language options. The only extra is a special audio commentary by director and actors.

Three-Disc Collector’s Edition:

  • Special audio commentary by director and actors , a behind-the-scenes interview with the cast and crew, a tour of the film’s locations and sets, inside view of the technology and production behind the movie, bloopers, deleted scenes and much, much more
  • Bonus disc with a DisneyFile, a digital copy of the film
