Fremantle Budget Releases
Fremantle Home Entertainment have two waves of titles arriving on UK Region 2 DVD in October. The majority have been seen on UK DVD before through other labels but have long since been out of print, while a few others are making their UK DVD debuts.
Out now (released on 13th October 2008) is Sydney Pollack’s They Shoot Horses Don’t They?, John Huston’s Prizzi’s Honor, Mike Nichols’ Silkwood, King Vidor’s Duel in the Sun and Herbert Ross’ The Seven Per Cent Solution.
Out on 27th October 2008 is John Boorman’s Hell in the Pacific, Sam Peckinpah’s Junior Bonner, David Greene’s Gray Lady Down and Don Siegel’s Charley Varrick.
Fremantle also have a wave of titles due on 10th November from slightly less high profile directors. Once again, these are titles they have acquired the rights to so they have all been previously released on UK DVD but are currently out of print. They are Gary Marshall’s The Flamingo Kid, Harry Winer’s Space Camp and Michael Miller’s National Lampoon’s Class Reunion.
Titles are priced at £5.99 RRP each, with the exception of the new to UK DVD titles - The Seven Per Cent Solution, Gray Lady Down and Charley Varrick - which are priced at £7.99 RRP each.
No features have been announced.
